For over 30-years, our Managing Director and head designer, Greg Goodall, has been sailing and developing championship winning boats. During this time he has won two A-Class world titles and countless other major regattas on almost every type of catamaran.
With this experience and a dedicated staff, AHPC delivers un-compromised quality every time. AHPC is committed to building the world’s finest off-the-beach catamarans. Our philosophy is to deliver you a boat which is ready to race, at world-class level, straight from the box.
In The Beginning
During the early 1980’s, Jim Boyer and Greg Goodall joined forces to design the first of many quality, high performance catamarans. Both men came from a decorated history of sailing and boat development, Jim in fiber composites and Greg in sail and rig design. In 1988 the TAIPAN was launched and AHPC was established to facilitate the marketing of complete boats and boat parts both locally and overseas. The overwhelming success of the TAIPAN and AUSCAT A-Class cemented AHPC as a world leader in catamaran design and manufacturing.
From Then Until Now
For almost 2 decades Greg and Jim designed and built their high performance catamarans, winning many titles, on and off the water. In November 2005 Jim retired from AHPC and left Greg the sole Managing Director of the company.
The catamarans are now assembled at the one location in Bendigo, Central Victoria, and shipped worldwide. We have boats on almost every continent in the world and our reputation is growing daily.
We saw the CAPRICORN win the F18 World Titles on just it's 3rd attempt and the VIPER set new standards in the 16 foot category. Recently we released our newest F18, the C2. This has been received, world wide, with such positivity that we have had to increase production like we could never have imagined!!
The Future
We have truly entered a new era for AHPC. Our design team is fully CAD capable and utilizing the latest in automated manufacturing processes.
