From its inception, the CAPRICORN took the European sailing community by storm and finished 1st and 3rd in the 2006 World F-18 Championships in only its third attempt. Along the way, there are many European and National Championships and prestigious regatta wins amongst its credits. Top sailors around the globe appreciate the Capricorn’s high speeds, agility and ease of handling.
The CAPRICORN was a truly revolutionary F18 design, it introduced the class to wavepeircing hull shapes and wing masts. Never before had sailors been able to go from the "middle of the fleet" to the front of it just by stepping on a new boat.
Over the last 5 years we learned alot about the F18 design and what makes a great spinnakered catamaran, so in early 2009 we begun the design process of a new and improoved F18, our C2. This has ment that the CAPRICORN is now a superseeded model.
We will still continue full support to CAPRICORN sailors and new 2010 sails are available.
